Training

The holidays will be a nice, but short break from my training. I have been putting in a lot of hours of training and a nice family trip is what I need.

Missing Out

Training for my new career takes up much of my time and I have to miss events and spending time with my kids and girlfriend. This is only temporary until I start working and have that good work/life balance.

Inconsistency

I went from studying for school to studying and training for work. Still trying to be a good father and boyfriend at the same time.

Recent

After 20 years, I started working again. I spend most of my time on my feet. The limitations of my disability came out after 5 minutes on the job. Dizziness and nausea, sweating profusely, tired, and not feeling good every day.

University Experience

My university experience from an intellectually disabled perspective.

Community College to University

The obstacles and triumphs of my first semester in college after almost 30 years. How my brain functioned and what I had to do to survive the first semester.
