The holidays will be a nice, but short break from my training. I have been putting in a lot of hours of training and a nice family trip is what I need.

Missing Out

Training for my new career takes up much of my time and I have to miss events and spending time with my kids and girlfriend. This is only temporary until I start working and have that good work/life balance.

The Pay Gap

The disabled pay gap is on par with the gender pay gap. The gender pay gap has made strides while the disabled pay gap has a long way to go.

Emotional Damage?

After a brain injury, emotions can be lacking. It’s just a side effect. My emotions don’t work the same way anymore, some emotions are severely lacking.

Recent

After 20 years, I started working again. I spend most of my time on my feet. The limitations of my disability came out after 5 minutes on the job. Dizziness and nausea, sweating profusely, tired, and not feeling good every day.
